RentalHome HQ uses providers only for the service categories below. A provider is not approved for production until its security review and written agreement are recorded.Effective and last updated July 22, 2026Provider controls
Production access is limited to the minimum data needed for the enabled feature. RentalHome HQ reviews provider terms, security practices, data-processing commitments, breach notification duties, deletion/return obligations, and use of further subprocessors. Provider credentials are kept outside source code.
OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare
Core hosting- Purpose
- Hosting, database, file storage, authentication and security delivery
- Data involved
- Account, rental, uploaded-file, request and security metadata
Stripe
When payments are enabled- Purpose
- Membership billing, tenant payments and landlord payouts
- Data involved
- Customer, connected-account, transaction and payout details; card data stays with Stripe
Resend or approved email provider
When email is enabled- Purpose
- Transactional, support and alert emails
- Data involved
- Names, email addresses, message content and delivery metadata
Apple, Google, Mozilla or the browser’s push service
When device alerts are enabled- Purpose
- Device notifications requested by the account holder
- Data involved
- Encrypted alert payloads, device subscription endpoint and delivery metadata
Plaid or approved bank provider
When bank feeds are enabled- Purpose
- Bank connections and transaction feeds
- Data involved
- Bank account metadata, balances and transactions; bank credentials stay with the provider
Approved tenant-screening provider
When screening is enabled- Purpose
- Credit, criminal and eviction screening
- Data involved
- Applicant identity, consent and consumer-report request details
DocuSign

- Lease documents, signer names, email addresses and signature audit data
OpenAI
When AI assistance is used- Purpose
- Optional AI assistant and guided lease-clause ordering

- User prompt or lease-questionnaire selections and the minimum application context supplied for that request
Changes to this list
RentalHome HQ may update this list as services change. Material changes should be reviewed before a new provider receives production data. Questions or objections may be submitted through the privacy request center.
